The hand lettered magazine’s name on the cover of the October, 1937 issue of American Cinematographer offered up another variation of the classic condensed slab serif typography popular in the 1930s and 1940s.

Art Deco in nature, it is now available digitally as Cameraman JNL in both regular and oblique versions.
